Abstract:In this paper a self-calibration measurement method is proposed to improve the linearity and accuracy of the optical current transducer with the magnetic concentrator ring.A reference current source,a self-calibration coil,and a remote collection unit are applied to the normal optical current transducer with the magnetic concentrator ring to form the self-calibration measurement system.And the self-calibration algorithm is also used in the signal processing.The experimental results show that the designed optical current sensor with the magnetic concentrator ring can meet the requirement of IEC 0.2 class.And the linearity and accuracy of the optical current transducer with the magnetic concentrator ring are improved obviously by using the self-calibration measurement method.The experimental results demonstrate the correctness and practicality of the self-calibration measurement method.The research can provide a new method for the practical design of the optical current transducer with the magnetic concentrator ring.
