Parameter Optimization Selection and Analysis of Dual Active Bridge Based on Extended Phase Shift Control

Abstract:When dual active bridge(DAB) adopts extended phase shift(EPS) control, there are multiple combinations of phase shift angles under the same transmission power. Selecting proper phase shift angles is not only the prerequisite to ensure that DAB meets the power transmission requirements, but also an important guarantee to reduce the backflow power and the current stress. Based on this, a DAB phase shift angles optimized selection method under EPS control is proposed in this paper, which simplifies the analysis of transmission power characteristics and reduces the computational complexity. Secondly, the selection range of phase shift angle is further clarified on the premise of considering backflow power and current stress optimization. Finally, simulation and experiment verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
