Abstract:As the traditional current regulator, the performance of synchronous PI is not ideal due to changes in motor parameters caused by complex work conditions of induction motor in electric vehicle. Nowadays, the complex vector PI and model predictive control improve the performance of motor. However, there are still some problems, such as long time response, overshoot. Therefore, this paper designs a predictive control current regulator based on Laguerre function model for induction motor controller of electric vehicle. This current controller can predict many steps of future state variables based on the current and past information. An optimal command can be obtained according to the expected values of the controlled objects and the change of the control quantity. Experimental results show that, compared with complex vector PI and model predictive control (MPC), the proposed regulator can obtain a better performance of dynamic response and reduce sensitivity to model parameters.
