Abstract:A novel quick charging DC converterfor high-frequency isolation electric vehicles is proposed in this paper.Based on traditional phase-shift full-bridge zero-voltage-switch pulse-width-modulation (PS-FB-ZVS-PWM) converter,a simple auxiliary circuit added in the secondary can provide zero-voltage-zero-current-switch (ZVZCS) conditions.To ensure the switches in the lagging leg operating at fully ZVS condition,the phase-shift full-bridge converter shares the ZVS lagging leg with the half-bridge (HB) LLC resonant converter,which constitutes the hybrid FB-HB circuit.The dual outputs of the converter are connected in series and the whole DC-output voltage can be regulated by the PWM phase-shiftcontrol.Specifically,in this paper,firstly,the paper summarizes some improved full bridge PS ZVS-PWM converters aiming at eliminate the drawbacks.Then the operation principles and characteristics of the proposed converter are illustrated in detail.In the end,the validity and superiority of the proposed converter are verified by a 15 kW experimental prototype.
