Abstract:The coil losses of high-frequency transformer are closely related to the wingding arrangements. Find out relationship between structure and the size of the loss of winding is of great significance to high-frequency transformer design and manufacturing. This paper set up the formula for calculation of eddy current losses in a flat transformer and used for calculating loss of different winding structures. This formula is easily to calculate and also shows the relationship between winding distribution and losses. At last, the paper verified the validity of the loss calculation formula by using finite element method.
