Abstract:Due to the actual process issues, the back EMF of brushless direct current motor (BLDCM) is not ideal 120° trapezoidal wave distribution, its flat top width and waveform distortion can cause torque ripple during commutation. In this paper, the non-ideal back EMF influence on torque ripple was analyzed and a low torque ripple hybrid vector control strategies was proposed based Hall switch signals. Experimental results verify that this method implemented in electric vehicle not only reduces the torque ripple but also run at high-performance vector control. It works reliably in complex working conditions with low speed start-up performance as well.
