The Jiles-Atherton(J-A)model based magnetization theory is widely used in the magnetic modeling field,however,its effectiveness for DC bias conditions remains to be verified.Based on the physical implication of magnetization,it was deduced that the combined DC-biased magnetization can be decomposed as the sum of the AC and DC components.According to the total current law,the mathematical expression of magnetic field intensity was obtained.Combined with Langevin Equation,a modified expression of the magnetization curve without hysteresis was deduced.Based on the Law of energy conservation,a modified differential magnetization model was acquired under DC bias as well as inclusion of reasonable reversible coefficients..According to asymmetrical behavior of the magnetization curve,a partition solution methodology was proposed to determine the parameters of the modified J-A model.Simulations and experiments showed good coincidence,and verified effectiveness of the proposed model as to further analyze and compute the excitation currents and iron-core losses for the DC bias conditions.
