Abstract:In this paper,a coordinated control strategy of series-parallel direct-driven permanent magnetic synchronous generators (DD-PMSGs) in the voltage source converter high voltage direct current (VSC-HVDC) system is proposed.The improved variable step hill-climbing algorithm is adopted by the strategy to achieve the maximum wind power capture in a safe range.In the generator side,the double closed-loop control strategy for the converter including the current inner loop and the speed outer loop respectively is taken.In order to improve the speed of the response and reduce the stability state error,the feed forward control of the current inner loop is used.The results in the MATLAB/Simulink simulation prove that the proposed coordinated control strategy of series-parallel DD-PMSGs can achieve good performance,and improve wind energy utilization.
