Abstract:Input-series-output-parallel (ISOP) inverter system is very suitable for power conversion applications with high input voltage and high output current. The objective of the system is input voltage sharing (IVS) and output current sharing (OCS). This paper puts forward two specific implementations of the compound control strategy to realize IVS and OCS. One is the combination of the IVS control and the same inductor current phase angle. The other is to combine the IVS control with the same inductor current amplitude. Meanwhile, to realize the fully modularity, a new solution dedicated to the distributed configuration is proposed. Only three buses, namely the output voltage reference synchronous bus, the input voltage sharing bus, and the average current bus, are adopted to communicate among the system modules. The experimental results validate the effectiveness of the above two methods and the distributed configuration.
