Abstract:In this paper,a three-port DC-DC converter is proposed to meet the requirements of the hybrid renewable energy generation.The introduced topology has the advantages of electric isolation,soft-switching operation,and small input current ripple.The T/Δ equivalent transformation for the three-winding transformer is carried out to derive the unified expression for transformer’s power and RMS current expressions under five different operation modes.Then the general expression within all working conditions are obtained,which can simplify the circuit analysis and design complexity.The topology is proved to be with good soft switching characteristic by analyzing the operation range of soft switching.Finally,a 2.5 kW prototype is made and the experiments are conducted to verify the working modes with wide voltage input and the soft switching characteristics.The results prove the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
