Abstract:The torque impulse balance control of flux switching permanent magnet (FSPM) machine is not influenced by PI parameters, which can improve dynamic performance of the motor during load transient. However, conventional switching mode causes the speed and torque of the motor to be readjusted by direct torque control (DTC) to achieve steady state when control strategy is changing to DTC. This paper presents two optimal switching control methods, which can modify the input of speed regulator or voltage space vector table at the moment of control algorithms' switching, in order to achieve rapid convergence of the control system and decrease the secondary recovery time. Experimental results demonstrate correctness of the proposed algorithms which aim to optimize dynamic performance.
