Abstract:There exists large-scale numerical simulation in engineering application which will turn to parallel computing. Non-overlapping domain decomposition method and parallel implementation are described. A three dimensional model of high voltage transmission lines with the house nearby is built and decomposed into 2~6 sub-domains for more accurate calculation. The linear equations formed separately on each sub-domain are solved by Krylov iterative solver on a cluster of computer. At last, the results show that parallel computation can accurately calculate the electric field around the house nearby the high voltage transmission lines, and the house is helpful of shielding the electric field.
