Abstract:In view of modulation limitation of the cascade multilevel SHEPWM technique, a kind of multichannel model SHEPWM technique has been brought in, which expands the modulation to 0~1.2. Meanwhile there is a problem of precocious in simple genetic algorithm, the multiple population genetic algorithm was proposed and brought into the solution of multiband SHEPWM equation sets. This method has the advantages of evolving faster and being accurate in optimal solutions. Taking a seventh step-level inverter for example, the SHEPWM nonlinear equations under three kinds of bands and the trajectory of switching angles which can eliminate the 5th and 7th harmonic are given, meanwhile the performances of multiple sets of solutions under three kinds of patterns are analyzed and the optimal choice of least harmonic wave is offered. At last, the feasibility and advantages of the proposed method are verified by results of experiments in DSP.
