Abstract:Large power system digital and analog hybrid simulation for AC/DC transmission system can not only study the conventional stability of power system, but also can do detailed electromagnetic transient performance analysis for local network. This can greatly improve the accuracy of power system simulation. This paper builds the AC/DC large power system simulation platform based on power interconnection technology. The platform can do full digital real time simulation and also can do analog simulation for the local grid, and then the digital and analog hybrid real time simulation for Three Gorges Underground-Western Shanghai ±500kV HVDC transmission system is successfully carried out in this paper. The comparison result of hybrid simulation and full physical simulation verify that using this platform to do analog-digital hybrid simulation is feasible and effective.
