Mathematical Model of the Integrated Filtering Reactor Windings Transformer

Abstract:The integrated filtering reactor windings transformer is designed by a special winding arrangement design scheme. The air-core reactors of the harmonic filtering devices are integrated as the transformer windings in the transformer. Aiming to reduce the number and the cover area of the equipment, this kind of transformer has a broad prospect of application in the areas of high harmonic content and small covering area, such as the ship power system and the city prefabricated substation. As a special structure winding the integrated filtering reactor winding constitude a complete windings structure with other normal power windings. The paper presents the fundamental circuit model and the harmonic circuit model of the integrated filtering reactor winding transformer, and based on the multi-winding transformer voltage equations the fundamental current and harmonic current formulas of the transformer windings are obtained. The fundamental current and harmonic current of the windings are summed to obtain the mathematical model of the integrated filtering reactor winding transformer. Taking a 300kVA integrated filtering reactor windings ship rectifier transformer for instance, the mathematical model calculation data and measured data are compared to prove the correctness of the mathematical model in this paper.
