Simulation Analysis of 3D Thermal Field in the Stator of Motor with Forced Evaporative Cooling System

Forced evaporative cooling(FEC) system has significant advantages in less dosage of cooling medium, uniform thermal field and less temperature difference, which can be applied well in practice. This paper details the simulation method of 3D thermal field in stator with a FEC system, and proposes a simplified method in setting the boundary conditions. And the reliability and accuracy of the simulation method is verified by experimental method. On this basis, two structural factors that influenced the stator thermal field are analyzed by the simulation method.
