Abstract:Three-Level converter can solve the problem of voltage stress, and improve the output waveform quality. This paper proposed a novel hybrid method of SHEPWM and SVPWM applied to three-level ANPC converter, combining the advantage of SVPWM(worked under low frequency) and SHEPWM(worked under high frequency). This method avoid the too much low frequency and large required memory of low frequency SHEPWM, and the poor harmonic characteristic of high frequency SVPWM, which provide a good waveform in the whole working frequency range. Under the research of the essence relation between SVPWM and SHEPWM and the influence this two method bring to three-level ANPC converter, the novel hybrid method proposed in this paper realize the smooth- switching between SHEPWM and SVPWM at any time, which puzzles the normal hybrid method.
