Abstract:Induced voltages of a 170MW pumped storage motor under ordinary and special stopping position is studied by means of FEM method. The initial converter control problem with equal induced line voltages is investigated when the rotor of pumped storage generator starting with SFC (static frequency converter) sfamdas on the special points, and the expressions of induced voltages for special points are derived. Then, the relative position of the axis of stator winding and the special stopping point is set precisely. The laws of initial converter control scheme for special points and the generation of positive electromagnetic torque are analyzed, and the initial converter control method of the special stopping point is also proposed. The induced voltage and speed direction of experimental motor starting with different converter control schemes on the special position were tested. The simulation and experimental results verify the correctness of the analysis and proposed methods.
