Abstract:Zero order voltage of the inverter imposes negative influences on the motor’s performance, so restraining zero order voltage to optimize the motor running state has practical value. In order to solve the contradiction between restricting zero order voltage and raising utilization rate of direct current voltage, the paper studies the distribution rule of zero order voltage for a 3-cell 7-level inverter, and presents different algorithms according to different modulation indexes. Meanwhile, in order to reduce the switching frequency, this paper also proposes to use different switching methods in different sectors, namely, the hybrid algorithm including five-segment modulation method and characteristic quadrangle modulation method. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is correct and feasible.
