Abstract  The wind power simulation control technology applied to the power system dynamic simulation test system is researched.For large disparity of the inertia between the wind power simulation system and the actual wind turbine,a wind turbine simulation control method to achieve accurate dynamic characteristics simulation of actual wind turbines is proposed.For grid condition of power system dynamic simulation system,an improved control strategy adopting the proportion-integral (PI) controller and the parallel multi-resonant controller is developed to achieve the stable operation of the wind power simulation system under harmonics distortion,power imbalance,and other non-ideal conditions.Also a coordinated control strategy is utilized to achieve a low voltage ride through (LVRT) capability on the double-fed wind power simulation system.The validity of the proposed simulation control method and the improved control strategy is verified by integrating a wind power simulation system into a power system dynamic simulation test system.
