基于多谐振控制器的MMC简化环流抑制策略

Abstract The main circulating current constituents of the modular multilevel converter(MMC)are the DC component and the even circulating harmonic currents.The circulating harmonic currentsincrease the requirements on the switching device and evenendangerthe stability of the MMC.Therefore,it is necessary to suppress the circulating harmonic currents.In order to obtain the DC component of the circulating current,a digital low pass filter is designed.According to the circulating current of the MMC components composition formula,the sum of the even circulating harmonic currentsiscalculated.Thena simplified circulating current suppressing strategy is presentedfor the MMC based on multi-resonant controllers.In addition,the model of the MMC circulating current closed loop is constructed.Based on the explicit analysis of the quasi-proportional-resonant controller parameters influencingthe system stability,the secondaryquasi-resonant controllerparameters are designed which provide the basis for designingthe circulating controller parameters.Experiment results show that theproposed strategy can not only effectively suppress the circulating harmonic components in thecirculating current,but also improve the leg current distortion,which is beneficialfor improving the stability and reliability of the MMC.
