Dynamic Emission Economic Dispatch Considering Large Consumers Direct Purchasing

Abstract  Dynamic emission economic dispatch (DEED) is the key optimization scheme of generation system in order to meet the generator ramping rate constraints during the entire dispatch periods based on emission economic dispatch. It is very important to solve the DEED problem efficiently. Furthermore, it is valuable to study how the large consumers direct purchasing strategy influences the dispatch of electrical power system. Therefore, the DEED model considering large consumers direct purchasing was established firstly. Then the constraint processing strategy of multi-objective bacterial colony chemotaxis (MOBCC) algorithm was improved by interior-point method. Finally, the way that large consumers direct purchasing impacts on the economic dispatch was discussed. The simulation results verify the proposed method. It is shown that the method is instructive for the large consumers direct power purchasing strategy.
