Study of Pulsed Magnetic Field Used in Magnetioacoustic Tomography with Magnetic Induction

Abstract:Excitation coil is the important component of magnetioacoustic tomography with magnetic induction(MAT-MI) device. In experiments, pulsed or alternating current are added to double coils, and double coils provide pulsed magnetic simulation to the sample, pulsed eddy current is then induced. At present, researches about magnetic flux density of double coils only present the value of magnetic flux density in special positions, what’s more, the excitation current added to the coils is limited to be constant current. This paper deduces the distribution of magnetic flux density and the change law of the double coils with time-varying current. With the help of Comsol Multiphysics, the paper makes a further discussion of both magnetic flux density and its change law with time. At last, verification was made in MAT-MI experiment.
