Abstract:Restart at coasting condition is essential for rotation sensorless control system of railway traction PMSM.Under a certain speed,rotor position and speed could be acquired according to the measured three-phase current after all lower bridge arms are short-circuited by a zero voltage vector applied to the three-phase VSI.On the above basis,a method to determine the short circuit time is proposed to improve the accuracy of the estimation results at different coasting speed.Also the estimation error caused by neglecting the stator resistance is analyzed.The experimental result verified the efficiency of proposed method.
