摘要 为保护电子信息系统免受雷电过电压的侵害,建筑物内常安装多级浪涌保护器(SPD)实现配合保护。限压型SPD的两级配合保护是其中一种常见形式,其主要限压元件是金属氧化物压敏电阻(MOV)。自然雷闪中可能出现的后续回击电流不仅有极陡的上升沿,还会影响限压元件的伏安特性,影响两级SPD间的能量配合。对MOV在后续回击下的伏安特性进行了试验研究,基于MOV在后续回击电流下的残压变化特点,理论分析了后续回击下的两级SPD配合特性。进一步仿真分析了后续回击下SPD配合的影响因素,并试验验证。仿真和试验结果表明,后续回击下,限压型SPD的残压相比同幅值标准8/20 μs冲击电流下增加了6.8%~36.8%。后续回击下,两级SPD更容易达到有效的能量配合,但也可能使第二级SPD不导通而没起到保护作用。同时,SPD组合方式、级间距离和负载类型也会影响后续回击下SPD的有效配合。

Abstract:Cascaded surge protective devices (SPDs) are chosen to protect sensitive equipment against surge current in electrical and electronic system in the threat of overvoltage caused by lighting.The two-stage cascaded voltage-limiting SPD is a common form and its main voltage-limiting element is the metal oxide varistor (MOV).Subsequent lightning return stroke occurred in natural lightning flashes not only rises very steeply,but also will affect the V-I characteristics of the MOV and the energy coordination of the two stages.Experiments were carried out in this paper to test the V-I characteristics of the MOV under subsequent lightning return stroke.Based on the characteristic changes of the MOV residual voltage,theoretical analysis was carried out on the SPD coordination under subsequent lightning return stroke.The further simulation considered the influences of the SPD coordination under subsequent lightning return stroke,and the experiments were carried out to verify the simulation results.The simulation and experimental results show that the residual voltages of the MOV under subsequent lightning return stroke increase about 6.8%~36.8% compared with which under 8/20 μs impulse current.The subsequent lightning return stroke makes the cascaded SPDs reach better coordination,but also may cause the malfunction of SPD2 and lose protection capacity accordingly.Meanwhile,the SPD combinations,the distance between cascaded SPDs and the type of load also affect the coordination of SPDs under subsequent lightning return stroke.
