Abstract:A compound sequence network model with controlled sources is derived based on the symmetrical component method for the three-phase induction generator supplying the single-phase load.Then the corresponding positive sequence impedance equation in steady state operation is deduced.The impedance equation can be solved with optimization to get per unit frequencies and magnetizing reactances of the induction generator under given capacitor combinations,and further the load voltage.The capacitor combinations can then be obtained by the iterative algorithm for a given output voltage.The calculated results are in good agreement with the experiment results,which verify the accuracy of the proposed method.
