Abstract:In this paper,the filter design method for motor drive systems is studied.First,the target transfer function is selected based on the limit values of the conducted interference in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards.Then,the parameters of the filter components are determined using nonlinear least squares method,and the filter topology is selected subsequently.The proposed method is utilized to design the common mode filters for both DC and AC side of a motor drive system.The experiment results show that the DC side common mode interference can be effectively mitigated,while not increasing the AC side common mode noise.
