Precise Instantaneous Speed Detection Method for Linear Induction Motor Railway Traction System

Abstract:An instantaneous speed observer based on the Newton motion model is proposed in this paper.The sensor low-speed asynchronous sampling method is used to get the time exactly and the speed observer is corrected precisely in real time.In order to improve the accuracy of the speed observer at low speed,an inverter nonlinear error compensation modelsuitable for low switching frequency in railway application is proposed.Furthermore,based on the motor equation,an online estimation methodfor the secondary resistance is present to ensure the stability.All of the algorithms are tested in one real self-development metro line.And the experimental results show that the proposed methods are right and effective.
