Study of DC Test Method of 1 100kV UHVDC Valve |

Abstract In order to meet the requirement of the dielectric test on ±1 100kV UHVDC valve, the DC test method of ±1 100kV UHVDC valve has been studied through theoretical analyzing, compute calculation and using numerical analysis soft ANSYS for calculating electric-field intensity. According to present test condition, the maximum electric-field intensity is 22kV/cm, which is less than air disruptive field intensity 30kV/cm. Present laboratorial space, design of test method and equipment meet the requirements without taking the atmosphere effect. This article finishes the research on DC test principle and method of the UHVDC valve to meet the challenge of the IEC test criteria, which supplies reference to putting ±1 100kV UHVDC valve DC test into effect.
