Abstract:A control strategy for voltage source PWM rectifier (VSR) in electrical vehicle charging station is proposed in this paper, including the design of controller and the improvement of control algorithm. For the PWM rectifier with LCL filter, the design approach of the PI controller parameters is presented and its performance is analysed, also a method to restrain the current impulsion at the starting time is proposed by means of applying a constant disturbance, meanwhile, by simple calculation, a procedure to correct the power factor is adopted in the way that setting a non-zero value to iq reference. Simulation and experimental results show the validity of the proposed method.
