Abstract:A statistical analysis on vehicular PEM fuel cell performance degradation was carried out based on the data from remote monitoring system. The method by which the fuel cell status data was collected is introduced. The nonlinear regression model with one factor is setup based on the fuel cell voltage empirical formula. The polarized curves in segmented time periods are calculated and the goodness of fit is also checked. Method for calculating the voltage degradation rate is proposed and the degradation feature under real traffic condition is also analyzed.
