Abstract:Two different models of LED streetlight are constructed and simulated by TracePro. Importing the data of TracePro in Dialux,practical simulation of the road lighting is analyzed and compared. From results of simulation, it is found that both of the first optics design of a peanut form lens and the secondary optics design of peanut form lens can achieve light distribution curve of bat wing and rectangular light field; but the uniformity of the second model, i.e. the secondary optics design of peanut form lens is better, and that is more suitable for practical road lighting.
