Abstract:In order to improve the accuracy of the flux estimation in sensorless control system for induction motor, this paper analyzed the inverter nonlinear error caused by dead time and insulated gated bipolar transistor(IGBT) non-ideal characteristics. A conclusion is drawn that the rise or fall time of output voltage is inversely proportional to current value in IGBT turn-off process when bus voltage keeps constant. According to the experimental result, the relationship between duty cycle, switching frequency, phase current and voltage error is investigated. Based on the relationship, a new inverter nonlinearity compensation method is proposed. The compensation voltage changes with the current value, particularly at low current. Experiments show that the compensation method can inhibit disturbance caused by inverter nonlinear error, and estimate the magnitude and phase of rotor flux more accurately.
