Abstract:This paper presented a novel method for the sensor-less control of sinusoidal PMSM. The idea is different from the traditional one of estimating rotor position. Using the current-based PMSM parameter vector map, it is achieved through ‘mandatory synchronization-efficiency optimization’ method. The paper introduces the achieving method and demonstrated the stability according to torque-angle curve of PMSM. The method is clearly thought-out and has low complexity, the parameters of motor are adaptable, and the hardware system is simple and easy to be achieved. Our experimental results show the feasibility of the method.
