Energy Storage Capacity Planning and Investment Benefit Analysis of Micro-Energy System in Energy Interconnection

Abstract  In order to achieve synergistic optimization of multiple types of energy and optimal operation efficiency of micro-energy systems, this paper established a simplified model of micro-energy system including photovoltaic power generation, energy storage system, regenerative electric boiler, ice storage air conditioner and electric vehicle. The configuration and investment benefit of the battery energy storage system in the micro-energy system were analyzed. Firstly, this paper assumed that each type of energy in a micro-energy system is configured with virtual energy storage to ensure its production/consumption needs. Then, based on the cost of energy storage system, the production/consumption demand constraints of various types of energy and the constraints of the energy storage system itself, a multi-objective optimization solution is performed to achieve optimal storage capacity allocation by taking into account the peak-to-valley time-of-use electricity price and carbon emission reduction policy. From the perspective of investors, consider the relevant parameters of investment recovery such as bank loans and internal rate of return, this paper analyzes the investment recovery of energy storage systems. Finally, combined with a micro-energy system demonstration project, the application verification of the new hybrid energy system configuration scheme was carried out to explore the optimal configuration scheme of the energy storage system in the micro-energy system.
