A Novel Hybrid Active Power Filter With Series Resonance Circuit |

Abstract According to the requirement of harmonic suppression and reactive power compensation in power system, a novel HAPF with series resonance circuit (SRIHAPF) is proposed in this paper, which is suitable for applying in high-voltage system. And the APF achieves satisfying compensation result even if the PCC voltage is badly distorted. The advantages of SRIHAPF are discussed. Then the steady compensation characteristic of the compensation system, the resonance damping and the stability of the system are analyzed in detail. The feasibility of SRIHAPF is validated by the theoretic analysis and simulation results.
