基于数学形态学的换相失败检测新方法

Abstract Rapid and precise detection of commutation failure plays an important role in the security and stability of AC-DC interconnected system. The variation and its reason of DC current during commutation failure are analyzed in detail. A customized mathematical morphology gradient is introduced to detect DC current. When a morphological gradient detected is greater than the threshold value as well as the rate of DC current change is greater than zero simultaneous, it indicates commutation failure occurs at the moment. This method can also detect the inverter faults that are similar to commutation failure. When severe faults occur at AC side, the detecting results can predict whether the commutation failure occurs or not. PSCAD/EMTDC simulation results verify the method.
