Abstract  The distributed generators(DGs) are regarded as the dispatched generators participating in Optimal Power Flow(OPF) in active distribution networks. But the conventional algorithms could not coordinate the precision and efficiency. This paper proposes an efficient and high calculation precision joint optimal algorithm with dispatched DGs. The proposed algorithm implements the reconfiguration, capacitor switching and output of the dispatched DG joint optimization by the optimization of imaginary ideal voltage sources that in series with link branch and approximate equivalent conversion of networks. At the same time the radial constrains are satisfied. The different size of test systems were performed showing the efficiency and precision of the proposed algorithm.
