Abstract In view of the multi-dimensional and multi-level evaluation factors including uncertainties in the evaluation of distribution network economic operation, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method based on interval number is proposed in this paper. Firstly, considering the uncertainty of expert judgment, interval analytic hierarchy process(AHP) is used to calculate index weights. And in order to avoid the divergence of overall score, the concept of possible degree of interval number is introduced to revise single factors’ weights. Then take into account differences in the distribution network of different regions, interval trapezoidal membership functions is used to calculate single factors’ membership, but they are divergence, so the center of the interval number is defined to amend them. Finally, the rating scale of overall score is determined by the concept of interval conformity degree with the rating scale interval standard. Thus, the conclusive results of case analysis demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed method.
