Abstract  In this paper, the inductive coupled power transfer system with LCL-S compensation topologies is analyzed. Its frequency bifurcation and sub-resonance point characteristic are analyzed. By reasonably designing the parameters of the ICPT system, frequency bifurcation can be eliminated and the stability of the system can be improved. Generally, for the sub-resonance point, the system output power lower than the resonance point. In order to improve the output power of ICPT system, this paper presents an ICPT circuit based on the composite resonance network with saturated reactor. Based on the mutual inductance model and circuit theory, the output voltage characteristic is explained in detail. Pulsed square wave as power of ICPT system transmission excitation, the use of saturated reactor harmonic currents can increase the system transmission capacity. Finally, simulation based on COMSOL software and low power experiment verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
