基于电子输运参数的CF3I及CF3I-N2混合气体绝缘性能分析

Abstract Trifluoroiodomethane (CF₃I) has been broadly proposed as a potential replacementfor sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) owing to its outstanding dielectric strength and physico-chemical properties. This paper aimed to adopt the Boltzmann equationmethod to calculate the electron transport coefficients of CF3I and its gas mixture with N₂, and comprehensively investigate the insulation propertiesof CF₃I gas mixtures from the point view of micro-parameters. The calculation results indicate that the insulation strength of pureCF₃I is 1.19 times greater than that of SF₆. It is also foundthat CF₃I-N₂ gas mixture with 70% CF₃I presents a very similar dielectric strength to that ofSF₆. In addition, CF₃I gas mixtures have advantages on the electric field sensitivity comparedwith SF₆, however, disadvantages on the synergistic effect.
