Voltage Flicker Envelope Tracking Based on Improved k-Value Energy Operator and Improved Chirp-ZTransform

Abstract  

The outstanding advantage of energy operator is the quick and real-time extraction of flicker fluctuation signal, but it can be easily affected by noise, which restricts the signal demodulation accuracy. In order to reduce the error of measurement caused by noise,the demodulation characteristics of energy operators were studied,the method of rapid and accurate extraction of flicker envelope signal based on improved k-value energy operator was established. The envelope parameters errors were analyzed and corrected based on Rife-Vincent window improved Chirp-Z transform spectrum. Voltage flicker measurement algorithm using improved k-value energy operator based on improved Chirp-Z transform spectral correction was proposed and established. The simulation results show that the influences on voltage flicker measurement which are caused by the frequency of modulating waveform in change, multi-frequency of modulating waveform, the fundamental grid frequency fluctuations, harmonics and inter-harmonics and white noise, are all overcome by using this approach. The detection of flicker parameter under the noise interference has a higher accuracy in this paper.
