Abstract The energy storage state of the closing spring in the spring operating mechanism affects the closing characteristics of the high-voltage circuit breaker.The acceleration signal of the spring in the closing process is divided into two parts.Then the minimum spatial distance of the energy release velocity between the standard spring and the spring under test are obtained by calculating the first part of the acceleration signal based on the dynamic time warping algorithm.For the second part of the acceleration signal,the eigenfrequency of the closing spring is extracted and corrected by the correcting method for discrete spectrum.The weighted Euclidean distance,which is calculated by data fusion of the minimum spatial distance and the eigenfrequency after correction,is taken as the measured eigenvalue.The experimental results show that the energy storage of the closing spring in the CT20 operating mechanism meets the requirement for the standard pressure with 5% deviation when the weighted Euclidean distance is less than 0.5.
