Abstract  Nowadays, wireless power transfer increasingly catches a wide range of eyes and thus has been introduced into the area of electric vehicle(EV) so as to realize the wireless charging of EV batteries.Compared to the power transmission in free space, there are several differences in the electromagnetic environment when EV is charging and the electromagnetic security problem is becoming prominent. In this work, the margin of safety and the related standards are discussed first. In addition, the simulation is carried out to analyze the parametric variation, electromagnetic environment and their corresponding influences on human bodies. Finally,an experimental platform is built to verify the simulation results. The system realizes a wireless charging of EV with 3.5 kW power. The research can provide the theoretical basis for the optimization design of wireless charging electric cars.
