Stability Research onHigh-Speed Railway Vehicle Network Electric Coupling System Based on Improved Sum-Norm Criterion

Abstract:There have been some low frequency oscillations (LFO) at electric multiple units (EMUs) and traction network coupling system of high-speed railway and the LFO can lead to traction blockade. This paper aims at studying the stability of multi-CRH5 EMUs and traction power-supply network coupled system (M-CETPNCS) which happens LFO. Firstly, modeling of all-parallel auto-transforms (AT) traction power-supply network and dual four quadrant pulse rectifier of CRH5 EMUs, the M-CETPNCS model is correspondingly derived. Secondly, an improved sum-norm criterion is proposed. Furthermore, bring up the improved sum-norm criterion to study the conservatism and stability of this system. Finally, compare different sum criterions with each other to analyze the stability of CRH5 EMUs. The results in this paper verify that the improved criterion is fitful for the stability and reliability of M-CETPNCS.
