Abstract:This paper discusses the ferrite core attaching effect on pulse interference (GJB151A—1997 CS115/CS116 test wave) coupled in coaxial cable. A measuring system is set up according to practical situations, and the equivalent circuit of cable with ferrite core is analyzed, and the validation test is performed in time domain. The results show that ferrite core is good for suppressing pulse interference, and in high frequency its effect depends on the core positions on cable.
