Abstract:An open-end winding space vector pulse-width modulation (SVPWM) control is proposed for a high thrust permanent magnet vernier linear motor in this paper.Mathematical model of space voltage vector has been established by analyzing the topology structure of dual power supplied open-end winding.Either side of the dual inverter system is analyzed independently based on traditional two level inverter so that corresponding switch states of dual inverter can be obtained from two single inverter.In the proposed strategy,the space voltage vector plane is divided into six sub-hexagon sectors.Hence,the reference voltage vector can be divided into two sub-vectors.One part sub-vector can be achieved by clamping one side inverter in special switch state,and another sub-vector is modulated by the other side inverter in the six sub-hexagons divided further in each sector.Finally,the validity of the proposed strategy is confirmed by simulation and experiment results.
