A Power-signal Parallel Transmission Technology for ECPT Systems Based on Duty Cycle Modulation of Square Wave Carrier

Abstract:A time domain transient mathematic model is built to analyze the channel frequency characteristics of the electric-field coupled power transfer (ECPT) system.To increase the channel bandwidth and signal rate,a new power-signal parallel transmission technology based on duty cycle modulation of the square wave carrier is proposed.This paper presents the specific signal modulation and demodulation flow chart.The proposed method can expand the channel bandwidth,reduce the difficulty of modulation and separation of power-signal waveform,enhance the signal rate,and reduce the source frequency.Both the Matlab simulation and experimental results prove the feasibility and effectiveness of this method.
