Abstract:For the multi-physics field coupling problem in the segment of the submersible motor,the influence law of the magnetic isolated segment and the stabilizing bearing size on the eddy loss,the heat transfer,and the temperature distribution is discussed by studying the coupling characteristics of electromagnetic-thermal-force.The coupling mechanism among mechanical properties,electrical conductivity,and thermal conductivity properties of different metals or alloys are researched by establishing a coupling model of electromagnetic-force-thermal for both the magnetic isolated segment and the stabilizing bearing.The influence laws of the magnetic isolated segment and the stabilizing bearing size on the eddy loss,the heat transfer,and the temperature distribution under the condition of stress constraints are explored.The accuracy of the calculation method is proved by comparing with the experimental results.The suggested method provides the theoretical basis for studying other high-performance submersible motors.
