Experimental Research on Hitting Force Characteristics of Water Column in Hot Washing

Abstract:The hot washing of insulators uses high resistivity water to remove pollution away.Stronger washing hitting force may impede the safety of the insulator,while weaker hitting force cannot wash the pollution away completely.The washing hitting force of the water column in hot washing is studied with experiments in this paper.The quantitative relationship between the hitting force and the nozzle pressure and water column length is studied through the measurement of the hitting power with three typical nozzles under various typical working conditions,i.e.washing angles,nozzle pressures,and water column lengths.The work of this paper has important theoretical and practical significance for further understanding the hot washing water pressure characteristics,washing mechanism,and safety efficiently operation control method.
